The lolcats joke.

Love it or hate it, lolcats has taken the internet and the world by STORM.

Fan groups have popped up everywhere in completely adoration of these funny pictures and their captions. Cat lovers everywhere are sitting around with their cameras constantly hoping to catch their beloved felines in funny or mischievous situations so that they can have the pleasure of creating the next big lolcat image macro.

However, there is a downside to all this internet frenzy. People are being so flooded with these caption pictures of cats that those who don't particularly adore cats in the first place are being severely annoyed with this overwhelming surge of kitty love.

I've been passing the word to my cat friends not to worry, though. The lolcats trend will fade away eventually, and the hatred will pass. And we can go on living out cat loving lives.
Now, with this little tidbit of unavoidable blogging out of the way, I bid you good night.

Tune in next time when I talk about the best cat lover books to get next time you're at your local bookstore!

Health Problems in Cats.

Different breeds of cats are prone to different health problems, and proper knowledge of what you're getting into is crucial if you don't want to find yourself with a very sick kitty and tons of vet visits.
For example, cats with flattened faces are obviously going to have upper respiratory problems, just like humans with deviated septums have trouble breathing.
In face, cats do face many of the same health problems that humans do. Kidney disease and even diabetes are common health problems that cats face.

Another, very sad illness is the virus known as FIV or feline immunodeficiency virus, is the cat's verson of HIV. A seemingly healthy, beautiful cat can take ill due to coming in contact with an infected cat. Another illness that spreads between cats in close vicinity is FeLV or Feline Leukemia Virus, which almost always results in the death of the infected cat.

These illness can be very sad for a cat owner, so when adopting or getting a kitten be sure to take it to the vet for testing and a thorough examination so you know what you're getting into!

Here kitty kitty...

Welcome to my blog! Cats are my favorite creatures on the planet. They're small enough to live in city apartments, and you don't even have to take them outside to potty!

When they're young kittens are playful and energetic. They will need you attention more during those phase of their lives. You will need to play with them and help them use up all their youthful energy. If you don't they will find ways to entertain themselves instead, which could lead you tiny little kitties crawling in places you would rather them not!

When your kitten get to the age where they want to explore you should put away any easily damaged of breakable figurines or collectibles, because cats like to bat these things around and knock them off tables in their boredom.

I could sit here and talk about cats all day but I have other stuff I gotta do, but I will write again soon about how amazing cats are!
